A Spell for this Evening

3/18 New Moon — A Wish Ritual

Jupiter Rituals call in luck and expansion.

Theme: Letting down your barriers that prevent you from feeling abundance. Receiving new energies and new contracts.

Sacred Moment:

Perform a ritual using The Art of Ritual from this newsletter as a guide.

• Find a Royal Blue candle. (Jupiter’s color)

  • I didn't have blue so I am using a white covered in blue delphinium flowers.

• Carve the symbol for Jupiter into it.

• Consider: What do you want Jupiter to expand? Money? Love? Creativity? Peace? Fertility? Choose just one thing for today, you don’t want to be too scattered.

• Writing on a small piece of parchment or paper what it is you are calling into your life.

• Fold the paper up, foling toward you and hold it between your palms.

• Light the candle.

• As you watch the candle burn, feel your energy weaving into the parchment.

• State the incantation, and repeat it until you feel it like a drum.

• Let your body relax and picture barries breaking down all around you as you soften.

• Visualize and feel the joy you will feel when your wish is granted.

• Let the Candle burn out, then bury this paper under a tree, ideally an Oak tree.

What to say to yourself:

Incantation:

I light the candle, blue,
and wishes will come true.
The knots that held me back before I now with haste undo.
Abundance will renew,
My Dreams I will pursue,
Benevolence will plant the seed, and light will guide me through.

Offering: Incense (Juniper, Sage, Oak, Tobacco), Whiskey, Gold, Money, Small Seeds.

What to say to yourself:

• “I allow myself to receive a higher level of abundance.”

• “I release the grip I have on my current limitations of prosperity, to make room for growth.”

Lesson of the Day: Flow is a two way street. You can call something in, but if you are ill prepared to receive it, you cannot access it. Refer to the tension in your body from Monday for guidance.
